Doktersdienst Groningen has been set up for emergency medical aid. This is medical aid that needs to be attended to by a qualified doctor or medic immediately. This means that Doktersdienst Groningen cannot and will not provide you with repeat prescriptions nor with e.g. a box of painkillers. Please ensure that you always have sufficient supplies of medication to help you make it through the night, the weekend or the holidays.

Always contact Doktersdienst Groningen by telephone first. We are more than willing to help you but please do not come straight to our station without having made an appointment first!

During the week, Doktersdienst Groningen is available outside regular office hours: between 17.00 hrs and 08.00 hrs. During the weekends and during national holidays, you can contact us 24 hours a day. Our operational  area spans the entire Province of Groningen in the Netherlands as well as the northern part of the Province of Drenthe.
