Medication

Doktersdienst Groningen is there for medical emergencies only. You cannot come to us for repeat prescriptions or painkillers. Always make sure you have enough medication to get you through the night, the weekend or the holidays.

We only issue repeat prescriptions for medication in case of absolute medical necessity, for a maximum of 1 day or weekend.

Please note: if you need medication on an evening, weekend or public holiday, the pharmacy will charge extra.

Medicines prescribed at the GP emergency centre

If you are prescribed medication during your consultation at the GP emergency centre, you can go to the pharmacy on duty. To find a pharmacy in your area, go to https://www.apotheek.nl/vind-een-apotheek and search by zipcode or town. Or ask the triage operator what the nearest available pharmacy is.
