Access to your personal data

Only healthcare providers and staff directly involved in the treatment can access your data. This should include the triagist (qualified doctor's assistant or nurse with whom you have telephone contact, the GP, nurse specialist or physician assistant treating you and the assistant at the GP out-of-hours surgery. They will only consult your file to the extent necessary for your treatment.

If you have had contact with the Doktersdienst Groningen or have been to the GP out-of-hours service, your own GP (if affiliated with DDG) will receive a summary of this contact or visit. This message states why you contacted the GP emergency centre and the advice or treatment. This allows your GP to know what complaints you contacted the GP post for and what action was taken as a result.

In the event of the handling of a complaint or incident, it may be necessary for a complaints officer, quality coordinator and manager of Doktersdienst Groningen to have access to your file and possibly to recordings of telephone calls and/or camera images.
